LEF is a psychedelic/Indian classical music collective from Los Angeles.
Instrumentation is varied but centered
on sitar, tabla and synthesizer while incorporating guitar, swarmandal, tanpura and vocals to create their Indo-cosmic sound.
The music is based on the fundamentals of classical Indian ragas and rhythm cycles but also fuses the meditative aspects of spiritual jazz and kosmiche musik.
